Ingredients
- Dried chickpeas, soaked overnight (1 cup)
- Onion (1/2)
- Garlic cloves (3-4)
- Parsley (1 cup)
- Cilantro (1 cup)
- Chickpea flour (2-3 tbsp)
- Baking powder (1/2 tsp)
- Salt (1 tsp)
- Black pepper (1/2 tsp)
Instructions
- Add chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, salt, and pepper to the food processor. Pulse a few times.
- Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl. Add flour and baking powder. Mix well. Then refrigerate for an hour.
- Use your hands to form the mixture into balls.
- In a large skillet, heat avocado oil over medium heat. Add falafel and cook until balls are golden brown.
- Serve with hummus.
