Homemade Falafel
Ingredients
Dried chickpeas, soaked overnight (1 cup)
Onion (1/2)
Garlic cloves (3-4)
Parsley (1 cup)
Cilantro (1 cup)
Chickpea flour (2-3 tbsp)
Baking powder (1/2 tsp)
Salt (1 tsp)
Black pepper (1/2 tsp)
Instructions
Add chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, salt, and pepper to the food processor. Pulse a few times.
Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl. Add flour and baking powder. Mix well. Then refrigerate for an hour.
Use your hands to form the mixture into balls.
In a large skillet, heat avocado oil over medium heat. Add falafel and cook until balls are golden brown.
Serve with hummus.
