- Steel cut oats (3/4 cup)
- Almond milk (2 1/4 cups)
- Cinnamon (1 tsp)
- Nutmeg (1/2 tsp)
- Salt (1/4 tsp)
- Coconut oil (1 tbsp)
- Apple, diced (1)
- Pecans (1/4 cup)
- Pumpkin seeds (optional)
- Honey to taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine steel cut oats, almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Meanwhile, in a small skillet, melt the coconut oil over medium heat, add diced apple and pecans, and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Top the oatmeal with caramelized apples, pecans, pumpkin seeds, and honey.
