Garlic Butter Chicken and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts (1 lb | 450 g)
  • Olive oil (1 tbsp)
  • Butter (4 tbsp)
  • Garlic cloves, minced (4)
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Broccoli (3 cups)
  • Chicken broth (1/4 cup)
  • Lemon juice (1 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add butter (2 tbsp) and chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook chicken until browned on both sides. Set aside.
  2. Add remaining butter (2 tbsp), garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add broccoli, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add chicken and cook for another minute.
  5. Garnish with parsley.
